Design inspired by the 'love me tender' chair created by didier faustino. He describes the original design as follows:
"an item of furniture and a focus for questioning, 'love me tender' seeks to make the body newly aware of its most ordinary gestures.
a bare bones of a chair whose apparent flaws are the crux of its design. the body takes possession of a space on which it leaves its mark.
living becomes a tiny but very real attack, a way of signalling one’s territory."
My interpretation of his chair incorporates several significant modifications that cause it to differ quite a bit, but still maintains the flair of the original.
