Mesh can be a real pain to work with ... and sometimes the land impact of a specific mesh object skyrockets when you bring it in. Also if you don't bring it in with enough lod factors, it breaks down as you scan away from it, or if it is with too many other mesh objects. This (I hope) will not be the case with these signs.
What we decided to do with these is create a 7 faced mesh picture frame that can be used for signs or anything else your heart desires. The faces are
Face 0 - The front frame
Face 1 - The frame side and inside
Face 2 - The front outside
Face 3 - The back Frame
Face 4 - The back inside
Face 5 - the back outside
Face 6 - The front inside
So what you can do with this is put a fine wooden texture on face 6, and one of the alpha signs on face 2 and have a sign with a background color...and then put some other wooden texture on face 0 and on face 1 to have a fine wooden sign....or you can put a photo of your mom on face 4 and an alpha glass texture on face 5 and a fine wooden texture on face 3 and 1 to have a fine picture frame. Or you can make all the faces except face 2 fully transparent (100%) and put one of the alpha textures on face 2 to have what looks like a fully mesh sign instead.
The sign itself has a land impact of about .7 and we enlarged it a ton and did not see a significant change in land impact. We have included a textured example of the sign so you can see the different faces and what we mean by changing the faces. All the wood used on these signs is in your inventory in the library.
Please do not share sculpt maps or meshes. They may not be sold, transferred, or given away to any other avatars, people or accounts with full permissions.
Objects that are created using the sculpts maps or meshes may not under any circumstances be transferred to another avatar with both copy and transfer permissions enabled. Only copy, only transfer, copy & modify, OR transfer & modify is acceptable but NEVER Copy, Modify & Transfer OR Copy & Transfer.
As with all our work, we will be happy to customize it for you for an additional fee if you contact Kittycat in world.
By the way, custom means we do different textures on the decanter or barrel, and perhaps on the cups/mugs/horns/glass inside plus edit the chatter the cup does. We are more than happy, at no additional fee, to change out any drink in any of the decanters for any others. We have no way of knowing what you like to drink, and do not consider taking a barrel we have made up and shifting the drinks in it to something else as custom. That is just good customer service.
