These frames are 100% mesh & materials enabled for those of you who have Advanced Lighting Model (ALM) enabled, but if you don’t, not to worry, your frames will still look great!
To get the best from your frame please give the below a quick read!
If you’ve NOT done this already, with the amount of mesh around the grid, you should do it now!!
1. Access debug settings from Advanced menu > Debug Settings.
(To enable Advanced menu, go to Me > Preferences, Advanced tab, and check "Show Advanced Menu" (Ctrl+Alt+D).)
2. In Debug settings window copy/paste “RenderVolumeLODFactor”.
3. Set this to a minimum value of 4.0
4. Click Enter key, close window!
To add your own picture:
1. Just drag and drop a texture or snapshot from your inventory onto the centre of the picture frame!
To Re-Texture your Frames:
1. Just drag and drop the texture you want to use onto any of the faces you wish to change!
There are two faces to your frame (NOT including the centre photo part!).
The dark wood part and the gold part! You can change either, both, or just one!
To resize your Frames:
1. Right click your frame, and click “Edit”
2. Click the “Stretch” radio button top left of Edit window.
3. To keep the correct proportions, click and hold the WHITE boxes on the corners, then move them in a diagonal direction in or out to the size you want!
As with ALL mesh, changing the size or linking and unlinking mesh items can change the Land Impact Up as well as Down!
PLEASE NOTE
These frames have been optimised for reasonable LOD and Low LI, however keep in mind they were designed to be viewed inside a structure (room, house, etc), the LOD will degrade over a distance.
It would be prudent to view this item inworld before purchasing to ensure the LOD is acceptable to you.
