If you are having trouble, download the latest official viewer and set graphics to "ultra" - make sure all the shaders are checked, and shadows are set to "sun/moon + projectors".
While it may look like nothing special this item is actually a very advanced piece of hardware that includes two control scripts and two projected light sources that can be used individually or in tandem.
The result is a strikingly versatile tactical attachment that can be fitted to virtually any firearm. The unique design allows the operator to toggle by touch a focused red laser dot and/or a realistic flashlight beam. Both are projected from the same focal point giving you pinpoint accuracy.
Since the item is scripted to be fully modular, linking to other objects is not a problem! It works exactly the same under any circumstances.
Touching the body activates the laser.
Touching the lens activates the flashlight.
Touch again to toggle either function.
The universal rail clamp is designed to fit the standard neotoy 5mm tactical rail - however it may not visually fit rails created by other SL weapon manufacturers; not a problem since the item is mod you can scale it to almost any size.
The scripts are also mod and annotated so you can easily change the color of the light and laser to meet your own specifications.
Builder's Note: While the mesh used for this model is just a realistic looking shell, it is actually based on the fully functional design specification of a real tactical light/laser weapon attachment which includes all the internal parts required for real-world functionality.
