Just rez and go with auto-configuring scripts. Rez up to 13 on sim. Modifiable to resize, delete the scripts to use as decor, or add your own scripts.
Scripts are not modify, so it may appear as "No Modify" in your inventory, but once rezzed you can edit it without problems.

To set up a system with two teleporters to transport you between, simply place a teleporter at each location. Wait one minute to allow the teleporters to discover each other.

Sit on the treeand you will be teleported.to the other tree stumpl you will find a documentation notecard with instructions of use.

If you want to have more destinations, simply place more teleporters. Again wait one minute for the information to be transmitted to the other teleporters. Name them, but make sure they are shorter than 24 characters long or you will get a script error. This is a Linden Labs scripting limit that does not allow menu buttons to be too long in name. This script will not shorten them for you.

Now, your teleporter will present you with a menu of all other destinations; as soon as you select your desired destination you will transported there. You can assign names to a teleporter destination by choosing Edit and entering the name of the destination as the Description of the object.

The teleporter also has a limited access control system. If the name of a destination starts with '*', only avatars whose active group matches that of the teleporter are allowed to teleport there. Destinations starting with '!' are accessible only to the owner of the teleporter. Also, you can add an animation and/or a sound to the content of the teleporter, which will be played when teleporting.

Like most teleporters, this one only works within a sim. Also, you can at most have 13 different destinations.
