*ABOUT THE OBJECT:
This is a 2 land impact mesh bed with 7 animated poses and a blanket that changes shape when clicked, so it will look, and feel as if you're really IN your bed, in stead of sleeping on top of it, like with many other beds.
Because it is mesh, it is easy for you to change it to suit your own style and taste.
The bed is a historical reproduction.
This is the Bedroll version, based on the centuries old improvised bed made from 2 blankets.
They were often used by soldiers and cowboys and in later years also used by people on their holidays and for unexpected guests when you run out of beds.
The bed comes with 6 blanket textures, but you can buy others from my shop or try make your own!

*ABOUT ME:
I am a Dutch woman obsessed with history, in RL I am a researcher.
Europe in the first half of the 20th century, inspires me especially Germany during the Weimar Republic (1918-1933).
The objects I create are especially made for The 1920s Berlin Project sim where many of the tenants often have to live in small houses and bad neighbourhoods.

*SCALE:
Many avatars and Sims in SL have a totally unrealistic scale.
My avatar is about 6ft, just like I am in RL, compared to most avatars in SL I look like a child.
I build a sim in a more realistic scale and compared to SL in general things here are small.
That means that the objects I make are made for realistic avatars, if they seem too small to you, this probably is because you are big.
However, you can make these sofas bigger and adjust the animations to fit any size of avatar.

*INSTRUCTIONS
-Rezz the item by dragging it from your inventory onto the floor.
-Right click and select 'edit' to move it or rotate into the desired position by clicking and moving the coloured arrows.
-Use this same window to change the size by selecting stretch.
-Right click and choose "sit here" to go to bed, the blue menu appears and will let you choose an animation.
-Click the bed to get this blue menu if you want to change your animation.
-Click the blanket to make it change its shape.

*CHANGING THE OBJECT
-Because this is a mesh object you can easily change it.
-First make sure you keep at least one copy of the original, just in case you break it.
-Drag a texture from your inventory onto part of the bed or blanket to change it.
-To adapt the animations to your avatar, say /1a in public chat, this way you can make sure your body doesn't stick out trough the blanket or your head vanishes into the pillow.

*ABOUT MESH
If you make Mesh items bigger, they will usually start having a bigger land impact and cost you more prims.
The item should look good but from a certain distance it may look distorted.
To make sure you see mesh in SL at well as possible, you may need to change the settings of your viewer.
This generally isn't needed but if you think that mesh often looks a bit bad, you may try this;
-Set your LOD setting to 4, this should not have a huge impact on lag.
-LOD settings can be changed in the graphics settings.
Another thing you can do is this;
-Click ctrl+D to add the 'advanced' tab to the options at the top of your screen.
-Click 'show debug settings'
-In the Debug Settings look for 'MeshMaxConcurrentRequests' and increase the value, some people say you shouldn't go higher then 60 but I've set mine to 128 and have not noticed SL getting any worse.
-Sometimes you can make the land impact go down by linking mesh with prims or other mesh items, but sometimes the land impact go up.
