The Metamorph Sky Screen displays a gorgeous view of a pristine horizon that's scripted to automatically change with the time of day -- it shows day, dusk, sunset, and night views at the right time on its own! And just left click on the Sky Screen to access its easy-to-use button menu that lets you over-ride the automatic horizon and replace either the interior or exterior face with any of these 22 fixed textures:

Our mega-prim design is easy on your property's prim count, too -- only 1 prim for the Panel, Curve, Square, and Round; 2 prims for the Roof and Dome; and 3 for the Cube and Full enclosure! All are set to Phantom, so you can fly in and out without impediment.
The Sky Screen lets you get creative with your property's view. Create a moonscape with the Dome or Full enclosure, that has the included Earthrise horizon on the inside where you can enjoy it and a steel surface on the outside. Or set the inside to transparent so that you can see out but your neighbors can't see in, giving you privacy indoors and out. Or reverse it, so that you see a gorgeous horizon at all hours of the day, which is invisible to your neighbors. Mix and match the textures however you like!
The Sky Screen also allows you to add four Custom textures of your own design (two to each side) ... just replace the sample textures in the Sky Screen's item contents with your own, using the same names, and you can access them from the menu buttons. It's as easy as can be!
WARNING: The Dome, Full, Roof, and Cube enclosures come in 2 or 3 separate parts, which is necessary for the scripts to function properly. Please be careful when moving, and remember to use Client>Disable Camera Constraints when moving the larger Sky Screens (see http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=339 ). To align the parts, right click on the wall section, select "Edit," copy its X Position setting, then paste that into the X Position on the other pieces. Go though the same process for the Y Position and the Z Position. Now add half the height of the wall section to the Dome or Roof's Z Position, and subtract it from the Full or Cube bottom section's Z Position. (So, if your 100x100 Square wall is at 300 m, the Roof would be at 350 m, and the Cube bottom section at 250 m.) The Roof and Cube bottom pieces will need some final adjusting by hand, but the Dome and Full will be perfect using this method.
ALSO NOTE: The Sky Screen's automatic horizon is NOT an animation, but rather a script that checks the time of day every 30 seconds and replaces the current texture at four set times. The Sky Screen will oftentimes not exactly match your horizon, especially if you're on an island with custom settings. Also, there can sometimes be a short delay between setting up/resetting the Sky Screen and when it actually synchronizes with the sun's position. Please give it a few seconds to adjust.
This item is modifyable, but its scripts are not. Also, but because it's made with mega-prims its size can't be changed (except for the 10m versions that can be reduced in size). Be sure to choose the size that's right for your property.
