DESCRIPTION:
With this kit you can build three tropical plants or trees as shown in the picture. The plants/trees are fully sculpted 3D objects with no alpha texture except for the ground shadow. The front plant shows the textures untinted - they are green with a touch of pink to give an exotic look. The two other versions are with different trunks and the textures tinted green and dark green respectively. Each plant/tree has three trunks and three tops of leaves.
Each plant or tree is made of 5 prims, when you include the ground shadow.
Each component of the trees can be used for other purposes. I find that the leaf tops fit well on other tree trunks and they can even be used as flowers if you shrink them and apply a colourful seamless texture. The three tree trunks in one prims can also be decorated with other tree tops.
The trees look fantastic on a beach, in a swamp, in a jungle or in a nice pot to decorate your home with.

HOW TO BUILD THE PLANTS/TREES:
In the box you will find short and easy to follow notecards with instructions on how to build the plants.
Basically, you copy the settings from the examples into your own sculpt to get the dimensions, the stitching type, the textures repeats/rotation and the aligning of the leaves to the trunks right.
The shadow for the plant is partly transparent and you can make it even more transparent in the build menu. I find that the more heavily textured the ground is, the less transparent the ground shadow needs to be to be visible.
PERMISSIONS:
This is a kit for builders and you are given permissions to use the sculpt map and textures ONLY to resell or share as one of you own building projects and not as is. If you choose to resell or share, please make sure the permissions are changed to 'no transfer' - that will not prevent you from selling - nor will it put me out of business :-)
SEE IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT:
I think we have all bought items here on the Marketplace that looked great on the pictures but not quite so great inworld. I have taken the picture in Second Life with no post editing, except from adding the text. However, you can see the plant inworld too, so you can be absolutely sure you are getting the value for your money you expect. Just click on 'See Item in Second Life' and you will get a tp that will put you right in front of the plants/trees.
