Een mesh avatar wordt met attachments "vastgemaakt" aan de basisavatar. Deze attachements verschillen per merk avatar. bekende merken zijn o.a: Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink HG en O, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, TMP. Het is belangrijk om een merk te kiezen dat ondersteund wordt door belangrijke kledingmerken zoals Addams, Blueberry en Scandalize. Zij produceren mega-packs die kledingsets bevatten voor de meest voorkomende merken. Als je een (goedkope) mesh-avatar koopt loop je de kans dat er geen passende kleding voor bestaat. Verreweg het best ondersteunde en verkochte merk is Maitreya.

These attachments differ per avatar brand. well-known brands include: Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink HG and O, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, TMP. It is important to choose a brand that is supported by major clothing brands such as Addams, Blueberry and Scandalize. They produce mega packs that contain clothing sets for the most common brands. If you buy a (cheap) mesh avatar you run the risk that there are no suitable clothes for it. By far the best supported and sold brand is Maitreya.
