You're looking at two simple modern mesh tables which were made with lots of love and larch wood. They make for great dining tables or office desks.
⇒ Dimensions: 2 × 1 × 0.84 m (small: 1 × 1 × 0.84 m)
⇒ Land Impact: 2 per table
⇒ Permissions: copy & mod
⇒ Wood finish: Larch wood
⇒ Textures: 1 × 256 × 256; 1 × 512 × 64; 1 × 128 x 256
⇒ Texture faces: 4
⇒ Materials: yes (normals and specular)
⇒ LOD: handcrafted
⇒ Physics: handcrafted
⇒ Customization: fairly easy
Land Impact and LOD:
All LOD models (how the table looks from a distance or with low graphic settings) have been hand crafted. Hence, they have a low Land Impact, yet will keep their shape even at a distance (no turning into triangles when zooming out).
Textures, Customization and Low-Lag:
Although being mesh, I've created this table in a way that it is easy to customize. While you would probably see some seams, it is still fairly easy to apply your own textures to the tables. You can texture the table top, the legs and the frame individually.
Materials:
Both desks are equipped with 'materials' (normal and specular textures). They are subtle, but can still significantly improve the looks of the tables if you have 'Advance Lighting Model' activated in your viewer. Check out the additional two pictures to see how a light source placed near the tables will bring out the wooden surface.
Low Lag:
The default larch wood textures are relatively small while still looking great, making for quick loading and low lag. All three textures combined use only and eighth of what a 1024 × 1024 texture would consume. Hence, these tables should load eight times faster than most other props!
Physics:
If you need more accurate collisions because you want your cat to be able to run around underneath the table, turn the Physics Shape Type to 'Prim'. The Land Impact will stay the same.
- 100% Mesh
- Low Land Impact
- Low Texture Footprint (low lag)
- Custom LOD (looks good at any distance)
- Copy & Mod
