==Mostly Cars GT40 Mk.IV==
In the late 1960's, the GT40 was the car to beat in the legendary Le Mans 24 hour race - showing that an American car company could compete with European sports car teams.
The Mk.IV was used in the 1967 race, the final year before the FIA changed the rules to prohibit the use of unlimited capacity engines such as the 427ci V8 used in the GT40. The #1 car, driven by Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt, won the race by four laps over the second place Ferrari 330 P4 driven by Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes.
This car is a tribute to that racing legend, and comes with a number of features, including separate driving modes for both mainland roads and racetracks, as well as both historical liveries and the ability to apply your own custom paint.
This car will automatically detect the type of region you rez it in, and will then configure itself for the appropriate type of driving - so at places like Racers Island, which features a number of closed-circuit racing courses, it will drive like a race car. On mainland roads, it will drive like a road car.
Crafted specifically for driving on mainland roads in SL, this car uses the Animats vehicle script system to provide a solid, reliable driving experience.
Per a prior agreement, the original scripts are available full perm and free of charge as part of this package.
