Lacking space in your Shippe & Saille Motor Lifeboat? Looking for a place to stash that hidden contraband, or maybe just to store extra snacks on those long trips? Then this add-on is for you!
This simple add-on turns a previously un-usable area on the Motor Lifeboat into a handy storage location of approximately 34 cubic feet. A perfect place to stick various decor items and really make your boat unique. Stick an oil barrel in there, or first aid supplies, or even a coffee machine!
Contained in this package is an internal storage shell that fits inside the rear hull area, plus a pair of working doors to access it (all mesh). A separate internal light is also included, which has a small built-in switch which mounts to the centre Samson Post for easy access. A scripted texture applier is also included to make the necessary changes to the hull which gives you the cut-outs in the hull bulkhead.
As an added bonus, you can also link items/decor to the doors themselves, and those items will open and close with the doors correctly.
This Add-on will add 3 LI to your boats prim count. If you don't want to use the light, then you can un-link this later and save 1 LI.
By default, the doors and the texture are colour-matched for the default Motor Lifeboat livery. Both can be re-tinted to match other liveries if required. If you own one of my liveries for this boat then you'll receive an updated texture applier to match all parts to your chosen livery.

Installation is as simple as rezzing your boat in a script-enabled area, stopping the scripts, then linking the mod to your boat. Auto-position install scripts will ensure that all the parts automatically move to the correct position - no tedious manual adjustments needed.
For the hull texture, you only need to drag the included script onto the boat, then left mouse-click your boat, and it will do the rest.
