This easy to use, touch on/touch off one prim mounted Wall Torch is designed to be used as a low prim decorative object in your home or castle. Touch the torch to turn the fire on or off. When turned on the torch emits a soft light in the surrounding area. When turned off it gives off a stream of smoke as you extinguish it. You need to have particles switched on in your Second Life preferences to see the fire & smoke effect.
The torch is made of 100% mesh and looks great at entrances, hallways, or anywhere else you want to create a bit of mood lighting. You will need to be using the latest SL viewers in order to view the torch properly.
Permissions are copy, modify, but no transfer, so you can rezz as many of them as you want, and modify them to suit. The scripts are set to no modify so it will show up in your inventory as being no-mod, but once you rezz a copy in-world you will be able to modify that copy.
Linking or resizing the torch (or adding scripts) will affect its Land Impact so caution is urged unless you know what you are doing as mesh in Second Life can play havoc with your prim count.

Enjoy.

nice
I built a dungeon and this looks good in it but I do agree with the one reviewer it has a white light glowing from it rather than yellow or orange it is mod so i was able to change the color on it so that they are orange the only problem is if you turn it off and back on they revert back to the white I am guessing because it is set in the script which is no mod. Perhaps the creator will see this and change the color. Until then I am searching for a replacement script that has a similar fire effect but with a yellowish or orange glow
Simple looks great but...
I wish there was a way to make it brighter.. and yellowish light.. white light from a torch spoils it a bit.
I love it
I use this in and out of my castle. Excellent Job! Thank you
