There are mesh versions out there that are cheap and very good but I wanted to make one just for fun.
I made this actually as a warning tower for absurd over zealous ban line and orb users in flight zones or near airports. No it does not "warn" anyone it's just there in the area ( placed with-in my land near people with no consideration for airports ) so pilots can fly around the area.
It is a prim build and it may or may not jump in LI upon rezzing. I think this is due to the texturing or the strobe light script (?). You can ether use none or make it convex and then phantom. If you want it to be solid it may require some tweaking.
Can make a good radar tower also.
