The ColorPalette HUD will color your item(s) in ANY color x 11 shades, just by one click. Only 1 script to load!
There are many scripts and gadgets, making it possible to color your items by saying the color (as a word, or in codes like <0.143,0,75,0.12> or #F1A37B), in chat, or by picking it from a pre-defined menu. The colors are limited to the possibilites the designer could build in.
This ColorPalette makes it possible to color your item(s) in ANY color, just by clicking on it in the Colorpalette HUD.
(According to SLWiKi, its over 16.000 colors, but i haven't counted them).
Together with this Color Pallette, you'll receive a script called "ColorPaletteReceiver script".
To make your item colorable, you have to rez the (modifyable) item you want to colorize, and drag the receiver-script into it.
Thats all!
Wear the ColorPalette (by default placed in left top of screen), click a color in the colored bar, then click a shade in the shadebar. Your item (including all linked parts, if linked) will get the chosen color.
MULTI-USABLE!

The 'ColorPaletteReceiver Script' is copyable, so you can use it for other items too, and color-control them with the same ColorPalette.
ATTENTION:
----------
If you detach the ColorPalette, or take your (coloring) item back in your inventory, the connection will be broken. To re-connect, just detach both the ColorPalette and the item, and re-attach them.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
-------------------
Shortly put, from moment of rezzing both objects try to make contact with eachother on a static channel.
When contacted, both will change over to a new (random) channel to communicate the colors. This will prevent other objects to react on your color-commands, or have your item react on somebody else's ColorPalette.
The ColorPalette only uses one script in total (no lag), and the 1 script in your item, of course.
