Like a neat little garden next to your cottage? Need to role play a farm, self sustaining village or colony and green up the sim while conserving prims?

This Mung or Green Beans Patch is on a one prim form that has 15 plants in 3 x 5 rows and makes a convincing farm. It is modifiable and can be shrunk or resized up to fit any garden plot or provide large ground cover.

These are realistic looking mature fruit bearing plants ready for harvest. These plants are set on natural light, not bright.

While different species of bean, the Mung bean and Green Bean plants look very similar. The green bean is harvested in the unripe stage when the pod is young and sweet, and mung beans are usually not harvested until till their pods have turned rather papery in color and texture and shucked for their beans.

Green beans are also know as string beans, snap beans, French beans, Haricots verts, and can be from several varieties of beans including the yardlong bean, the hyacinth bean, the winged bean, and especially the common bean.

The mung bean (also known as mungbean, mung, green gram, or golden gram) is native to the Indian subcontinent. High in protein, it is a staple of the Asian diet. The starch of mung beans make jellies and "transparent" or "cellophane" noodles. In India Mung beans as used for dal and it batter is used to make crepes named pesarattu. Whole mung beans are generally prepared from dried beans by boiling until they are soft and made in porridge, soups or stews as well as desserts throughout Asia. Bean paste is used to make ice cream of fillings for mooncakes or dumplings.

Germinated mung beans area eaten as bean sprouts, commonly stir fried or added to spring rolls, in the west they are eaten raw in salads.

If you have bought my rice paddy better make room for a mung bean patch too!

I started landscaping on a history sim where 1/3 of the prims are reserved for tall ships and texture lag can sink a ship. Conserving prims, using low prim items, allows for more role play props to be rezzed. And using high quality, quick loading low lag textures make for convincing detail. Cara Mia Gardens is dedicated to providing the best low prim, low lag landscaping on the grid. After all, a prim saved is a prim earned.

Come see this and many other trees, flowers, and crops in my in-world garden.
