These music boxes play a series of part tunes and are constructed using some specially made textures & scripts. One music box is made out of 40 prims and also included here is a free low prim version playing the exact same tunes for those of you who are prim conscious.
There are several linked groups of prims in order to allow parts to move. It is impossible to link them all together so I have used Rex-Faux to make it easy to rez. Full Rez-Faux instructions are included, but basically you rez the Rez-Faux box which contains the music box, a blue menu window appears on your screen and you rez the music box by clicking the rez button in the blue window. You can then edit the Rez-Faux box until the music box is in the right place then save the location. The item is copy so that the original always stays in your inventory, so if there are any mishaps, you can always rez another.
Moving parts include a small fairy on a turntable with an astrology slide rotating under her feet; the key winder for the clockwork mechanism along with several cogs in the clockwork "engine"; the cylinder which would "pluck" the tines of the music comb rotates; the lid opens and closes.
Once rezzed click the lid to start the music. There is a short pause between the different tunes. The lid will swing open to reveal the inner workings. When you want to stop the music, just click the lid once again and with it closing the music will stop.
Both of these fantastic music boxes currently costs just $L199 with all the tunes listed below included. Please note that only part tunes are included. The length of each tune (in seconds) is indicated in brackets next to the tune's title (if known).
