Patterned after the movie “Oblivion” with Tom Cruise, I designed this great Flying machine called the “Bubble Flyer”! It can take off vertical or land the same. You fly it in your “mouse-look” mode so you get the feel of real life flying.
It fly’s and maneuvers like a helicopter, but has no overhead propeller so that means that you can get into and out of much tighter places then a helicopter. It has realistic looking jet engines that start up with sound and fire out the back when you begin. I have flown several types of planes and helicopters in SL and I can tell you that this baby fly’s really smooth and is easy to learn as there are no other things to do except get in and fly. Everything is keyed to the startup and shutdown commands(Start-Stop in local chat), that means the Jet engines fire up, the Tail rotor spins, the Red light on top begins to blink and you even have a Heads Up Display come up just in front of you! One more thing to make this fun flyer – it has dual laser cannons that fire light beams and has sound too! This is a great flyer and can go with my Cloud Platform Skybox (sold separately) I truly believe you will love this one! I just love to get in it and buzz around!
