Proudly presenting My Little Robot, a solution for NPC accounts. Output a random diagnostics line when nobody asks, responsiveness to chat every so often and the occasional sparks while interacted with (all these are changeable through a public menu). Any avatar whitin a range of 10 meters could be detected and reported in chat. Talk to your newly patched robot and ask it for the current GM time or a joke for example! These very basic conversational solutions are making most subscriptions unnecessary. Expect hundreds of funny robotic responses, also reacts to dozens of keywords.

Get this chat enhancer for a robot account that you control, works great with OpenCollar, Corrade, Radegast & as AI character. There are no external dependencies, everything stays private in the script. This tool needs some customization for companions or objects - you'll have to manually reset the name (only) the first time to give it the name of your companion robot.
