[N-O] CB Radio Grid-Wide with Display

Introducing the Northern Operation's [N-O] CB Radio Grid-Wide with Display V. 1.00 released March 2026.

GRID-WIDE SIGNAL POWER transmits over 20 channels into Nearby Chat, including encryption.

The New [N-O] CB Radio is rugged, handsome and field proven. Compare it feature for feature with other CB equipment and you'll be convinced that the [N-O] CB Radio is by far the best.

[N-O] CB Radio with Display - A true grid wide citizens band radio with encryption and an actual 7 bit LED display - not using textures.

Upon rezzing, the radio defaults to Ch. 19 (open communication call out channel with no encryption).

20 base channels
Infinite encrypted channels using a mutual key word (up to 16 characters long, both upper and lower case) you can pick on each channel 1-20. Virtually impossible to crack. Incorrect password gives no reply.
Use any of the 20 Channels though Ch. 19 should be left as an open, free calling channel before moving to other channels for longer, more detailed conversations with friends or after initial call out.

MENU

Manual - manually select a channel number.
Secure - switch to secure mode on the channel you are on - I text box will open for you to enter your secure word.
Open - Switch back to open mode. It will also switch back to Open mode if you change the channel number while in secure.
+ / - - step up and down 1 channel at a time above 20 will jump to channel 1 and below channel 1 will jump to channel 20
19 - single button to drop back in to the Open Calling Channel.

Operator distance is 5M. Only the owner can transmit, but anyone within 5M will hear messages (Including encrypted messages as one would be able to hear if within ear range of any real life cb speaker).
