PRIMitive Creations is owned and operated by Ethan leSabre, a Gay man from the UK. Pride season is a hugely important time in the LGBTQIA+ Community. We celebrate the strides that we've taken on the journey to equality.
We recognise those powerful folk who fought before us, on whose shoulders we stand. We remember those we have lost, to disease, hate crimes, and even suicide. We stand together, a family, united in our crusade for equal rights for all. We stand with the young LGBTQIA+ people, our future (which looks brighter every day as they continue the fight and push the cause further).
In 2020 specifically, both Ethan and The Governess stand with our Trans siblings as they face the bigotry within the community as well as the wider world. We stand with our Black siblings as they continue the fight for equality, not only for whom they love or who they are, but also for the colour of their skins and the systemic issues they face.
NB is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase Notāre Bene meaning "Note Well" but is also used by the Non-Binary community. This NB Flag Texture is here to recognise that the Non-Binary community exists and is valid.
As The Governess RPs a Time Lady she has been known to regenerate into male, female and non-gendered forms. Second Life is the perfect place for her to explore this and she's keenly aware of how great it is that we have this sandbox in which we can learn about who we are.
We hope that you have a safe and happy Pride Season and look forward to they day when we no longer have to look to the future hoping for equality for all. <3 But until we reach that future, remember that Black Lives Matter, Non-Binary people exist, and Trans Rights are Human Rights.
