This region mapping tool allows you to manage the parcels of a sim with a unique set of information provided to its owner. It scans the region, identifies parcels, owners and parcel areas, then creates a scaled, multi-coloured prim based region map of the entire region onto which the region texture can be superimposed.
The map colour codes separate parcels or all parcels owned by a single owner or group.
Touch the map to highlight that owner's parcels and get the parcel name, owner name (including group names) and area of the parcel touched, and also the same information for other parcels with the same owner, including the total area for that owner.
The map can show the SL region map texture and the separate parcels can be identified with different colours to show owners or parcels.
There are five size options for the map from 6.4m sq to 32.0m sq
When complete, link the map for display. The map cannot be changed by the scripts after linking but you can resize it as it is modifiable.
The system creates its region map with the least number of prims possible. Testing in various regions indicates that the number of prims needed to create the map varies from region to region with a typical region using approximately 40 prims. After linking, the prim cost is reduced by approximately 50%.
