This is a relatively simple unpacker script. It includes some options I commonly want. It's free and full perm (Copy/Mod/Transfer)
Placing this script into a prim and touching it gives the toucher a folder of the prim's contents. The folder excludes this script.
Instructions, information and some settings are available inside the script.
Settings:
Folder names:
-The folders given by the script are automatically named to match the scripted prim. The prim can therefore be renamed to adjust the folder names.
Floating text:
-The script displays "floating text" above the scripted prim. The text's message and color can be adjusted.
-The floating text has an option of including an item counter, displaying the number of items in the scripted prim's contents (excluding the script). When enabled, it automatically adjusts as items are added or removed.
Owner-only mode:
-The script's settings include an optional owner-only mode, only delivering a folder of the prim's contents when it is touched by the owner.
-If the owner-only mode is active, touchers who are not the owner are sent an error message instead. This message can be rewritten to match your preferences. For example, it could include a marketplace link or SLurl directing touchers to where they can get their own copy of the object.
-Two versions of the script adjusted with and without owner-only mode have been premade for your convenience.
DISCLAIMER:
This script can only send folders to avatars in the same region. Avatars outside the region will receive an error message instead. This message can be rewritten to match your preferences.
- It's an unpacker script, giving prim contents folders on touch
- Adjustable floating text message and/or item counter
- Optional owner-only mode
- Adjustable error messages
- Free and full-perm (Copy/Mod/Transfer)
FINALLY! You want this script!
I'm not sure why it was so hard to find this kind of script but not only did I find it, it was free! Simple unpacker that uses object name as folder, doesn't have to be main prim, and doesn't give the script to wearer. PERFECT! Thank you tons. :D
Just what I was looking for...
... nice script to copy the contents of a box into a named folder without including the script itself in the folder. Thanks!
