Introducing the NOTSOBIGAVS Mesh Micro kit - making tiny avatars just got easier!

Returning customers who previously used the NOTSOBIGAVS micro hud will be pleased to hear
that animation limitations, and the difficulty of locating joint positions are gone, making Mesh
advantageous even if you are intending to make full prim avatars.

If the response to the orginal viewer 1.x micro hud is anything to go by, I am sure this kit will
aid in the creation of the coolest (and also some of the smallest) tinies yet.

HUD FEATURES
________________________________________________________________________________________________

TEXTURE CHANGER:

As rigged mesh attachments cannot be selected or edited while being worn, the hud has a
texture change function to allow you to alter the appearance of the micro mesh without the
need to detach and rez it on the ground.

The texture change menu is accessible via the top button on the hud. Once opened, you can
change the textures, colors, glows and alphas of the six boxes shown using 'edit linked'
(right click > edit > edit linked). Once satisfied with these settings, left click the buttons to
apply the changes to your avatar. Note that the scripts inside the mesh parts will continue to
function independently of eachother, so if you wish to remove unnecessary portions of the
mesh, such as the head, you may do so without affecting the functionality of the hud.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

MICRO CAMERA:

This button toggles the camera between the default and a low angle more suited to micro
avatars.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

AO & AO MENU:

As in previous products, the HUD includes the open source ZHAO II, loaded with both male and
female animations. Use of the hud and its AO is not required, but be aware that a full AO is
required to prevent undesirable animation results, such as oddly folding arms and legs.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Logging in while wearing a deformed mesh may result in SL failing to undeform you properly
when it is removed. At this time, the simplest solution is to relog. I will update this if/when a better
solution is found or the problem is fixed by LL.

I think this is a cute little avi, I haven't had any problems moding this avi. Very good for this price.

Well i wanted to try it because i just wanted to create a fairy/little demon avi.. well this sucks. the shape is horrible and not so editable. the face is NOT editable, you can't wear mesh hair or any other mesh body. the ao's don't make you to move and the default ao is a statue pose. i have put a beautyfull skin on and it looks dumb. I think it really needs some work and i just hope for a refund.. i will also include a screenshot of what i could do with that and i tried even flexy hair.

I think i'm not the only one that wants a refund.

Stuck without skin and cannot remove the bra/panties

Can't even find any textures to use to change the skin. I'm stuck walking around with a grey body and bra&panties. You can't unpack the contents once you've already unpacked, so you can't start over to try fix problems with this.

The seams are horrible.. they make a perfect skin look like amature hour. The offset is buggy.. a tad off standing, and makes groundsitting or poseballs unuseable. All in all i've tossed this one, and am using a female micro i found for 50L instead. (at least it doesn't make the skin look horrid). That said, Cy was a pioneer in the micro and macro deformers game.. so imperfections will likely be fixed in time... i await that day.

Skin makers rejoice!!
full star full star full star full star full star Posted October 19, 2012 by Winry Carver

I have been on the lookout for a mesh shape like this, not to wear as an avatar, but for use as a mannequin. To my surprise, they are dang hard to find! This avatar makes a great stand in, so that I don't have to wander around looking like a gene splicing experiment gone wrong. ^_^;

There are only a couple of issues that I could find with this, but neither of them are big enough to dock a star off of my rating decision.

1: The shapes are a little high on the land impact for me to rezz them at my home, but are not bad at all for a sandbox. The male shape is about 100 prims, and the female is about 200.

2: The rear of the male is strangely squashed, so it looks a little crushed. This is more of a cosmetic issue than function, but it is slightly disturbing, enough so that I've rezzed the female one instead.

3: Pieces of the shape do not quite align right. Where the torso seam is on a skin texture, there is a small overlap and gap in the mesh shape. It is not enough to cause problems for me, but it is something to keep in mind while editing.

I'd like to reiterate once more that I am not actually wearing this as an avatar, instead I am rezzing it onto the ground next to me, and resizing it to about the size of a full avatar (the small size was too tiny for me to see details).

Maybe in the future there could be a mesh body set specifically for skin makers? ^.^
