This tool can help to find the Avatar key.
This is necessary when you have an online detector or an item that uses an access list etc.
We have: Display Name, User Name and Legacy Name.
Modern accounts are created by choosing a user name, which consists of one name (no spaces).
Legacy accounts were created by choosing two names: first and last names. These two names are used together to form the username.
Modern accounts are given the legacy last name "Resident".
With a space between the first/last name.
With a dot between the first/last name.
This is all very confusing.
Access lists etc. use the detected name that is Legacy Name or key.
How it works:
1. Rez the tool where scripts are allowed to run and you can rez.
2. Find the Avatar's Legacy Name, you can found it their profile.
3. Copy the name.
4. Click on the Name to Key Converter and select "Enter name".
5. Paste the name into the textbox and select "Submit".
6. You can see the key in local chat and as floating text above the Converter.
