These scripts will make a commercial sign more realistic. They are full perm. Just open the object you want, put the script and let it work. You can modify script behavior if you want.
They work for a single prim object.
<>Color change 1: This is a simple script that changes color in a specific order. Color transitions are smooth.
<>Color change 2: This script allows you to change script behavior. You can change the speed colors are changed and time a color will remain the same.
<>Color change 3 works changes colors at random.
<>Color change + light blink 1 makes the object produce light around it; light has the same color with the object. You can change some light parameters if you open the script. The object will blink like a commercial sign should do, but you can easy make it blink chaotically, like a neon tube that is malfunctioning. To do that, open the script and change parameters, using the instructions you see there.
<>Color change + light blink 2 is the same, only that the object will also glow.
<>Color change light 1 works with color change 2. The two scripts communicate and will work synchronized.
<>Texture fixer is a helper script. Jut add it into your object and the textures will stretch at 100% when you touch it. No need to arrange textures yourself.

Note for builders: if you put this in an item that is a single prim/mesh, the entire object will change color.
Example: I put this is in a 1 LI object which was a light bulb and base. Both the light and the base changed color at the same time. This might not have happened if the bulb and base were a separate mesh rather than just a separate face.
