can not get it to work
rezed the board and first time it tried to surf it comes up with script error. Tried all the other boards in box thinking maybe just an SL problem. Same thing could not use due to script errors. Tried refreshing the scripts, picking it up and rezing it again. Same problem. Completely useless unless want to use it as a prop. What a waste of lindons. Would give a zero if I could.
No actual sailing, ignores wind
Surfing this thing is like surfing a picture of a wind surfer with a motor in it. It ignores the wind completely, the sail never changes position. It's so completely fake it's embarrassing to have spent so much on it.
its good but i am still looking for something that looks like a real windsurfer - they all seem to look like something from a windsurfing mag circa 1985
the booms are too long and it would actually connect roughtly where the L is in Neilsen - the end of the boom would connect just above his left knee - so a bit of an oversight there - there are no foot straps - but he is standing in the right spot at least :) - the mast would never connect to the nose (centre of effort is further back) of the board and it doesnt gybe (so kinda like a basic water vehicle really) - it would be nice if it behaved like areal sail board - i mean the sail flipped when turning or used the real SL wind - it could jump and do some tricks
but its still the best available so worth 4 stars - but I desperately need more
good work though and nice to get a selection of different sizes included in the box - handy for different heights
i am off to go sailing ;)
