Have you ever felt the need to have some text displayed on a prim but don't like the idea of painting a special texture for each and every sign, caption, information board ? Then this is for you.
This text board is entirely menu driven and very easily set up. No need to edit a single notecard, just touch it and select what you want to modify in a clear menu :
- text on each of the 2 lines (up to 24 characters each) ;
- font : 15 predefined fonts but you can easily use more - 3 more font references in the documentation ;
- text color : 16 predefined color but you can specify other colors (including alpha component) ;
- alignment : left, centered or right ;
- background texture
- background color (9 predefined colors but you can of course specify more) ;
- background alpha (opacity/transparency).
Once you are satisfied with your setup, you can completely remove scripts (and make the display an inert item) by selecting "Kill scripts".
The ODisplay also has group access : restricts access to owner or optionnally to members of the current group.
Best of all : it's copiable (you can have many boards on your land), modifiable (resize it, add your own scripts...) and only 4 prims!
