IMPROVED - Root prim is now invisible and furthest distance away from the island which SL building restraints allow, so the island can be placed further out to sea.

Just rezz the island on your sim and move it out into Linden water so that the waves are just below the water. All you need to do is keep the root prim on your sim.
POSITIONING TIP: Before you rezz the island, please right click on another item so that you are already in edit mode when you rezz. Then, please check "edit axis at root". This will put your cross-hairs on the root prim which is invisible. This root prim MUST remain within the boundary of the sim.

To keep L.I. as low as possible some sculpts were used for terrain. The island is approx. 50m x 50m (excluding waves).

What a beautiful off-sim island. It is ideal for offshore from my new English-styled home - so it's a BIG 5-star.
If I had to make a further comment would be it would have been nicer if the island and the route prim could have been a bit longer in the distance so the island could have been placed further out to sea and as it is not a modifiable item it sadly cannot be manually altered.
