"who need to be buried in ground or water" means you need your own island or crash spot.
This item is just the back-end of the plane, it's a partial plane piece which you have to sink into your own island or sandbar to make look like a crashed plane. The animations do work for off-sim version, and when you "stand" from the animations, while off-sim, it just plops your avatar to the sim boarder, which works for the notion of swimming across from a smaller island to the mainland, or whatever. Cool item!
