The Hamnida Table Lamp 03 is our own little variation of the standard twisted torus lamp. It was supposed to be just an entry level inventory item but it ended up looking so good it should fit even as part of a really posh and sophisticated interior
We've gone for a clean, almost white finish using a single low lag texture to add some life to the surface. This gives it a very clean "Scandinavian" look which we think suits the curves of the lamp very well. You are of course free to retexture it any way you like.
The lamp is scripted to give both glow and illumination when switched on. Illumination only works if you have Local Lights activated in your preferences though. Without it, the lamp will still glow but you can't see it light up the surroundings.

Modifying the Table Lamp
The OPQ Hamnida Table Lamp 03 is fully modifiable. That means you can resize it to any size you like (either manually or with the enclosed MBAGR resizer script) and change the textures to anything you like.
Modifiable also means it can be linked to other items, a great way to reduce your land impact and to easier manage your items. It will add a maximum of 139.1 to a linkset's land impact - often even less. A notecard with easy instructions how to link items is included in case you haven't done it before. (Important note: some old style prim and sculpt items may misbehave when linked to modern items like this, causing the land impact to skyrocket. All OPQ products are safe to link but we can not take responsibility for problems caused by items made by others. We do include a notecard with some tips how to fix the problem if it occurs though.)
(To avoid any misunderstanding: The OPQ Hamnida Table Lamp 03 will be listed as not modifiable in you inventory. That is because it contains a no-modify script. Once rezzed, the item itself can be modified any way you like.)

About the Hamnida Series
The OPQ Hamnida series of furniture and other inventory items is named after the sim where NCI (New Citizens Incorporated) has their main classroom and secondary help center.
The series is intended to be a low prim alternative to the outdated prim heavy freebies many newcomers have to furnish their first house with but some of the items are of such a high quality they would fit right in to even a posh SL home.
All the items are low prim, no more than two - and usually just one. Most have so low prim counts that two of them linked together counts of just one prim!

The OPQ Hamnida Table Lamp 03 is sold with copy/modify permissions. That means you have permission to use in Second Life as many modified and unmodified copies as you like for your own personal use and as parts of public and rental builds owned by you or a group where you are one of the owners. You also have permission to keep as many copies as you like in your inventory. You do *not* have permission to distribute it in any way (This includes rezzing copies of the item on other people's land for other people's use!) or use it in any way outside Second Life.
