DESCRIPTION:

The Secret Boxes are a fun way to share secrets, dreams, wishes, etc. There is a notecard inside the boxes where all your dreams, secrets, wishes, spells, hopes, etc., can be written and shared. When you touch the boxes you will get a texture menu. When anyone else touches the boxes they will get a random private message from one of the lines in the notecard.

The texture change menu allows you to mix and match the box and lid textures as well as change the label categories. There are 5 different sets of labels included but you can make your own as well. Included is a full perm AO map of the labels plus a full perm blank version of the paper labels used. Use either one to create your own set of labels. Share them. Sell them. Give them away. Have fun.

The owner can write anything they like in the notecard. Each line will become a separate message that can be randomly messaged when touched by anyone other than the owner. The owner can get a random message by touching the single piece of paper in the top box. (Face 5 of the mesh.)

The Secret Boxes are copy/mod and can be resized. The scripts are copy only so they may appear as no mod in your inventory but when rezzed they are fully modifiable.

These boxes can be used as a decorative element only by leaving the notecard blank or by removing the notecard and script together to disable it.

CHANGE TEXTURES:

1. Touch the Boxes anywhere except the top piece of paper.

2. Select which element you want to change from the menu.

3. Select the option you want to apply from the sub-menu that appears.

4. Select Close or Ignore to close the menu or Main to go back and make other changes.

ADDING SECRETS:
-----------------------------
1. Right click the box and go into edit mode. Open the notecard "ADD HERE" by double clicking it.

2. Add the messages you want to be shared to the notecard. Add 1 message per line. Hitting the 'enter' key will start a new line. There does not need to be spaces between lines.

3. Save the notecard and close the edit window.

4. To test: touch the piece of paper in the top box. (Face 5). You will get a random message every time you touch the piece of paper. Touching anywhere else will give you the texture menu.

NOTE: Do not change the name of the notecard. You may use your own if you like but make sure you name it exactly the same. ADD HERE

THE SHADOWS:
--------------------
For more realism, the shadow beneath the boxes is actually white and tintable. Shadows are not actually black at all, they are a deeper shade of the object they fall upon. If you put your boxes on a red table, the shadow should be a darker shade of red than the table itself.

The shadow comes tinted a blackish hue to be universal but you can tint it to reflect whatever surface color you set it on if you want to try for a more realistic shadow effect. Using the edit window and selecting the shadow face only, change the black tint to a deeper, richer shade of the surface beneath it.
