Hello there, and first off, thank you for buying my Object Finder HUD. It is very simple to use, the object type flags panel has the following choices listed:

ACTIVE
PASSIVE
SCRIPTED
AGENT
OWNER
RESET

There is a detailed page explaining them here on the lsl portal: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlDetectedType

For a less detailed and more basic run down:

ACTIVE: Moving stuff, physical boxes and stuff.
PASSIVE: Stuff that is not moving.
SCRIPTED: Things that run scripts.
AGENT: AGENT/AVATAR
OWNER: Clicking this once will set your HUD to only look for objects owned by you. This will be the case even if you reset the HUD. The OWNER flag can be disabled by clicking the button again.
RESET: Resets the settings back to the basic HUD settings of ACTIVE|SCRIPTED with 96 meter range.

You can mix and match types like ACTIVE|SCRIPTED, or AGENT|SCRIPTED|ACTIVE, or anything you wish really.

To the right of the Object Type Flags panel, you will see the Settings Read Out: panel. Once settings are configured, you will see float text showing what the active scan type is, if the HUD is looking for only objects owned by the HUD owner, and the current scan range.

Directly bellow this is the prim that houses the cross hairs that will point to objects on screen. You can scroll between objects with the < and > gray arrow buttons. If you see your cross hairs move and nothing pointed to on screen, look behind you, as the HUD will operate in a 360 degree environment. So this way you have no limit to what objects you can see. The scanner will always pick up the first 16 objects, so if you cannot find an object, try scrolling backwards in the list instead of forwards from the start point.

Last but not least, the two arrows on the side of the Settings Read Out: panel on the right of it. Hitting up will adjust the rang up by one, and down for down by one.

--------------------------------------------------

Now that I have covered how to operate the HUD, let's talk about the information printed out above the cross hairs. The read out above the cross hairs is as followed:

object name @distance in meters
object key
scripts running / total scripts
script time in milliseconds
script memory
object streaming cost
object server cost
physics cost
object position in world

--------------------------------------------------

That is about it, no secrets here, just a simple and effective object finding device. If you have any questions, feel free to message Xylex Doomdale in world, and if you do buy, have fun checking out all the nearby things you can see, or cannot see.
