Its okay for the price, all instructions are in Japanese but easy to figure out. You'll probably have to try a few search terms to get it to find your object.
Fantastic!
This object finder works well. The notecard instructions are in Japanese. If you speak English follow these steps :
1) rez and unpack
2) add "Objectfinder to your avi (it looks like a light saber)
3) in local chat type /33 name of object (it has to be the exact name of the object you're looking for)
4) wait for Objectfinder to find what you've lost. ( It tells you when it's finished : Objectfinder Searching complete.)
5) if it finds your object it will give you a TP link in local chat. Click on the link and TP to your object.
As far as I can tell it will only find an object with in the same sim. The exact limit on distance I don't know.
Ohhhh goodie,... Ohhhh goodie,... Ohhhh goodie, it worked!!! You wear it and it puts this big 'ole saber thingie that vibrates in your hand and you type into chat following... /33 'object name' which is the exact name of the lost object. Then it finds it and puts a TP/LM link into your chat. You click the TP/LM link in chat and it gives you a LM follow. Follow the LM and that should be where the lost object is. Suggestion: When rezing new things or important things or things you are nervous about be sure their exact name is somewhere you can find it, cause if it goes missing this Objectfinder will need the exact name. Suggestion: if the item is small or transparent you gonna need to type in the Ctrl/Alt/T key strokes that turns lotsa in-world things redish and makes SOME things easier to see. Note: Objectfinder only works when you are relatively near the object you are looking for - propably 96M based on "instructions" - but just guessing. Warning: you MUST type in the EXACT name of the item!!! Would-a given it a 5 but the instructions are like, non-existant and I had to figure it out from product description on slexchange/xstreet web site and trial & error. But, it worked, it worked, it worked,... (CloeFae is happy.) :) Ta-ta and Safe Paths
