Odd Wearable Wooden Boat

Welcome to my experiment in wearable vehicles!

This simple wooden boat doesn't need a rez area to get started - just add it from your inventory, click on the boat & then just use your arrow keys to steer, just like you would walk and move in SL. Your viewer's "set hove height" will help if you're sitting low in the water, and you may need to turn off your AO in order to paddle properly.

This boat can be a little temperamental when moving - it's slow to turn when going fast, and you'll get a bit wet on the sim crossings, but it won't ever toss you off like a regular boat would. And don't worry - it copes well with bumps and scrapes - I have wrecked one yet!

Once you've got started, clicking on the boat again will stop it and make your boat sink! But no fear, just click on it again and your boat will rise from the depths and keep on going.

I've left the boat scripts mod - if you love playing with scripts, feel free to tinker, though I can't provide much help if you muck up the script - make sure you make a copy before playing with it.
