The Kassturm 'Odyssey Orb Finder' is a 100% FREE companion utility that alerts you to orbs that your Odyssey Creatures' Seahorses lay. Currently, the Seahorse will send you a personal message when a new orb is available... but they can be easily lost or you may never see them if you're capped.

Odyssey Orb Finder Basics

1) Your Odyssey Orb Finder can be taken into inventory and re-rezzed without losing its memory. If you ‘Take’ your Odyssey Orb Finder you can rez multiple copies and retain it's settings. If you make a copy via the 'Shift + Drag' method, the settings may be lost on the one being copied.

2) To begin with, your Odyssey Orb Finder will appear as an empty treasure chest. When orbs are found, it will suddenly fill with gold. When the orbs go away... so does the gold.

3) By default, a particle beam will show you where orbs have been discovered. Odyssey Orb Finder will cycle between multiple orbs every 10 seconds. The Particle Beam can be toggled on & off (Particles, Toggle), and also it's color can be changed (Particles)

4) The floating text above your Odyssey Orb Finder, which displays how many orbs are rezzed & whether the unit is online or offline can be toggled on and off. (Text >>, Text On/Text Off).

5) The radius at which the scanner will look for new orbs can be changed using 9 presets, ranging from 5 meters to 96 meters. It's default is 30 meters. Note, make sure you have read the 'Getting Started' section of this manual before adjusting the Scan Range.

6) The 'Power >>, On/Off' section lets you enable & disable the Odyssey Orb Finder:

a. Power On – Odyssey Orb Finder is constantly on and scanning. (Default)
b. Power Off – Odyssey Orb Finder is disabled and will not begin again until you choose another setting.
c. 'Your Status' allows Odyssey Orb Finder to automatically disable itself when you log out. It will stop looking for and locating orbs until it sees you online again.

7) Odyssey Orb Finder will send you an Instant Message and/or a Box Alert any time a orb treasure is located (only 1 time per orb), regardless of where you are on the grid. The Instant Message will include a click-able SLURL to easily teleport to it; the Box Alert has a button you can press to get a clickable SLURL.

a. If you leave Odyssey Orb Finder on it's default power setting (Power On), Odyssey Orb Finder will not alert you if you are offline. It will, instead, keep a tally of how many orbs you missed and announce that upon your return!
b. If you have the 'Your Status' mode enabled, Odyssey Orb Finder will not be active at all while you are offline and so will not be keeping a tally. The same applies to 'Power Off' mode.

FREE Updates Policy

You will receive free updates automatically. Note: So that you are not spammed with updated ones constantly, your scanner will check for updates approximately every 2 days. This is to allow time for a new one to be delivered and also rezzed in world; no one likes to be spammed.
