The OfferBoard allows users to create and hold their own private auctions. The owner simply places the board out and it's already ready for bids! Potential bidders can click the Make Offer button to be presented with a channel number. With this channel number, they can speak their offer on that channel so the bids are silent and don't interrupt normal flow of conversation around the board. When the timer is up (configurable) or the owner wishes to end the auction, the owner (or the owner of the item being sold) can then commence with the sale. Because of the occasional problems with lost money or items during periods of high lag, the board will not accept any money.
