This is a beautiful rustic homestead style home - quite small but big enough as a bedroom - with a built in fireplace and bullnose verandah.
A completely unique and beautifully constructed Aussie house!
I have seen houses like this in the real Aussie bush, and always wished I had the guts (and the money!) to buy one, renovate it and move in! However, I now own it in SL, and what a lovely job the creator has made of it.
The detail an accuracy of all the features of this build are wonderful. The roof, the doors, the various surface textures, the functioning fireplace with wonderfully realistic smoke from the chimney, it is perfect. I have other Aussie homes which are of timber construction, but this is the only period home in SL built of stone (well, pixel stone *giggle*) as far as I know. And I love every pixel of it :)
Please disregard the unfortunate experiences of the previous reviewer, who evidently encountered a bad day in SL and perhaps a small lack of SL asset management skills. The house rezzed for me perfectly each time I have rezzed it, and is best adjusted into place by opening a build window before rezzing so that the various components move perfectly together - because some parts are phantom and other not, they are not linked, but it took no more than a second to tweak it into position that way.
You get what you pay for!
Be forewarned......when the ad says, "see inworld", and there IS no inworld, there is a pretty good reason why; and when you get it anyway, and there are no instructions and no way to move the house into place, there is a pretty good reason why. The reason I found it this case was that not all the pieces of the house didn't rezz - no matter how many times I tried to fix it. I finally gave up and deleted the junk. Too bad.....it could have been a lovely little house, but the builder just seemed to have given up and put it up for sale unfinished. This isn't even worth the little money it cost. Don't bother. Grade: F minus.
