Full Perm 102 Piece Timber Framed Building set

This kit contains over 100 elements you can use to create buildings with timbered style walls. Cottages, markets, barns, and taverns are just a few examples of the timber-frame buildings that would benefit from using this set.

There are 33 wall designs in lengths of 2.5, 5, or 10 meters long.

One of the major goals in the design of this set is ease of use, and one of the features that make this set easy to use is the palette of parts. Just rez the palette and click a model on the palette and the full size version will rez beside the palette. With this system there is no need to look at a chart then find the part in inventory.

The items in this set have custom rustic wood and stone textures but you can replace them with any other seamless textures you would like to use. Wall panels have three faces you can apply textures to. (Inside wall, Outside wall, and Timbers) The door also has 3 faces. (2 different wood parts, and the door handles)

I have included 2 basic textures for you to use in completing your builds. They will be useful for making extra beams, posts, general trim, floors etc.

Each wall panel design has 3 connection types designed to add design versatility, and also make it easy to align them in a way to prevent flashing or gaps.

I will include part of a completed build as an example of how I designed these pieces to connect.

There are a variety of wall styles and lengths with window openings, and there are two styles of windows included. The windows have matching custom textures but you can also apply your own seamless textures to them, same as the walls and other parts. Each window comes in static and dynamic versions. Dynamic versions have scripted sashes that open or close on touch. The glass in the windows can be scripted to change textures, use your home controls, etc.

The door is scripted and includes a frame. The door has an integrated handle/ring and is textured in theme with the other parts in this set. The wall section with a door and frame installed, shown on the palette, is made to connect to the other wall sections and save time in aligning the door later. Just insert the proper version into your build then unlink the door and drag script to it. There are additional instructions included.

The UV Templates and Ambient Occlusion maps for windows, walls, and door are included.

As a bonus, I have included a set of sculpt stairs with banister, and 2 and 3 meter long railing sections.

Land impact / prim use: Each of the wall sections, unlinked will have an LI of 1, but the overall LI will vary depending on how you link the build. As an example, the 102 parts that are on the palette have a LI of 114 before being linked. After being linked that number drops to 82.

A door is 2 and the frame is 1.

The sculpt stairs are 1, the banister is 1, and there is also a hidden prim to walk on for a total of 3 prim for the complete stairs.

All building components, and textures are full perm.
