BODY SHAKER - SAMPLES PLUS DO IT YOURSELF CAPABILITY
INCLUDED:
* Full perm sets of 5 physics separately for Mesh Avatars and for SL normal avatars
* Shake Table and instructions for modifying what we give, or doing your own - to adjust and "have it your way."
WHY THE NEED TO ADJUST?
Three reasons why you might need to adjust or have more than one "physics"
1. Physics varies between SL normal Avatars and MESH - Greatly - and also a bit between types of mesh avatars
2. Some days you might want more physics on a low animation, and sometimes less physics on a strong fast moving animation - so have multiple physics items
3. Our opinions as humans often differ. "Have it Your way. Be in Control"
VARIATIONS on AVATAR TYPE
* SL normal avatars showed the most physics for all three: breasts, belly and butt, since likely it is what is moving. Mesh shows less since it seems "related" to SL body movements since attached, but seems to need higher physics settings since it is "related" but not the same
* ALL Mesh Avatars tested of Maitreya Lara, Belleza Venus, Slink Physique, and TMP showed decent breast and belly physics, even with some minor differences among them, and even though settings needed to be higher than for SL normal avatars
* BUTT Physics varied greatly on mesh. While butt physics is wild on normal SL avatars, only Belleza Venus seemed to have large movement. TMP showed some movement. We could see no obvious butt physics movement on either Slink Physique or Maitreya Lara. But of course there could be some setting there, or something we are missing. And yes, of course, we still do love Maitreya and Slink and it would not stop us from buying or even preferring them.
SHAKER TABLE CARPET
MENU COMMANDS - tight click and stand, and you should get the menu then. Left click the carpet when standing on it to get the menu any time. Note that the dialog box at the top gives the current settings
DIRECTION
You can set the direction to just one of 3 spatial direction or to "all" to move all three directions at once. Direction x (x-x) and y (y-y) are shown on the carpet. But x direction is forward and back, and the y direction is side to side. The z direction which is also set at startup (z-z) is up and down.
SPEED
Of course, slow, medium and fast adjusts the time between going in the reverse direction. Slow of course waits a longer time than fast before jogging back in the reverse direction.
DISTANCE
Again, this likely makes sense. "Close "is the least distance move, "Near" is more distance per shake, and "Far" is the furthest distance setting.
NOTE TO THE WISE
Of course the shaker in top settings likely will shake more than anything in real dancing or animation usage. But sometimes you might wish a different physics item to show more movement even if your avatar is not moving wildly. So do not be disturbed if top settings look crazy. Not sure the top settings of the shaker occur much in SL usage. We generally test with medium settings of distance on "near" and speed on "medium," and even that seems more than most dancing animations in SL.
But I would think that just one physics item would not do. A person may want more jiggle when their avatar is moving in a slow animation some days and less jiggle when it is being animated faster. Sometimes you want "more" when less is going on, and you may also want "less" with more going on. So you may want a few choices of settings to wear. That is why we begin you with 5 different physics items to wear, for each Mesh and non Mesh avatars. But know that with this kit you may in fact create your own different 3 or 5 or something that you like better than anything we give.
---------------
CHANGING PHYSICS SETTINGS
Explained in the instructions. Even if you find it hard to follow, you can always change a setting on the physics, try the shake table, and see what happens.
PERHAPS THE REAL ISSUE
Start with some known starting point after reading the above. Perhaps try adjusting one of ours before doing your own totally starting with nothing. Change it. Use the shake table. See if you like it. We also tried some dances to see the impact. Most dances were less than the "near" distance and "medium" speed settings, but it at least gave us an idea. We used the shaker table for the final settings.
