MENU DRIVEN DRESSING POSE STAND (menu2)

Tired of having a hard time using your camera or moving your avatar everywhere in a cumbersome manner to see how you appear after dressing in SL? How about a simple fix – you in real life and your camera stand still while a menu driven posing stand moves your avatar to different views for you?

To USE: Right click the stand or pose ball and select “Sit Here”. Then when standing then left click the stand or pose ball for the menu. Select many options and change pose without getting on and off after that point.

This item is a menu driven dressing pose stand – and it gives you that in three different varieties, each of which can be copied. What it does is try and make dressing and checking your appearance in SL faster, better and less frustrating. Our belief is that people will want to use this often, as we do. So it is not a one time thing, but perhaps something that could become a constant usage item. Since we allow copy, one could also use a few of these also for a group photo shoot where different avatars have different poses and may even face different directions.

The three options included in this sale package differ in their ending letters: the one ending in “ps” means pose stand below, a square gold one. “pb” is a pose ball below your avatar and your avatar would then be above it. “ph” is pose ball high – meaning the avatar would be below the pose ball. We suggest in this last case that the “ph” pose ball may need to be 3 meters or so above the ground.

For most of us in SL changing clothes is quite common. Yet even with just the simple posing stands to help it can seem quite archaic. One gets tired of moving their avatars or camera to get views on other sides and then there is the question of what does your avatar look like for different poses with these clothes? How about when sitting? Lying on the beach?

This menu driven stand should make things far easier. It used the simple philosophy that you the person on the computer should not have to move or move your camera – the avatar should move using a menu. As such the pose stand or ball can face four different directions and you can select these via the main menu using “Turn right”, “Turn left”, or “Turn Around”. So, you and your camera stand still while the avatar moves. In addition, the menu has sub menus.

With the submenus you can choose between about 22 poses in the Standing position, Sitting 9 positions, Lying Down 7 positions, Active (meaning implying or real avatar action): 11 poses or animations (two of which are standard club dances). In addition to that is menu controlled rotation which are three speeds of a standing pose – that go from slowly rotating at the slow end to spinning at the high end. Yes, you can use spin to see if your flexi skirt is going to move much. And you also do have a color menu – which can modify the color of your stand or pose ball to 8 different colors, or choose hide or show also where hide makes it disappear totally. (if you lose it use your pull down menu under view to highlight transparent items and there it will be. Then just left click it to bring up the menu and select “show” from the color menu.

But the three other items in the menu – turn right, turn left, and turn around can also show most poses from multiple viewing points – 4 of them – as you rotate the whole stand with your avatar in pose position.

Don’t forget to also think about the possibility of using this stand for photos, one person or more. Even a profile picture can help get your avatar in a good pose for profile pictures.

SUMMARY

A lot of power – and a good price. Considering that this is an item you might use quite often, we think it is a very excellent buy.
