Show off your exceptional land and your hard work - or just have fun - with this system that gives you hot air balloon tours and rides. The System includes two basic types of items: rezzing stations and balloons. Included in the package are 7 balloons and a rezzing station, but copy as many as you wish.

How does it work? Each balloon you rez or copy contains very powerful software ready for your flight plans. You write the flight plan for each balloon on a "Locations" notecard in the contents tab of the balloon. Our instructions help you to do this. Some features:

* Each rezzing station can give up to 12 different menu choices for balloon rides
* As the customer selects a balloon tour, the balloon is rezzed only long enough for the flight. This saves prims when they are not needed.
* Set up as many as 72 legs (points) on the journey to set the flight path (<= 60 m total travel each)
* You can set a small balloon rotation different for each leg of the journey to add realism
* You have at least approximate speed control for each leg of the journey
* When saving the notecard our software examines the flight plan to look for at least common errors. We love this feature ourselves since it saves us a lot of time, and some hard to find problems.
* "Warp Speed" option is there for up and down travel if you want the balloon to go up to a high skybox quickly. And it is just fast and easy to setup and not a cheap teleport.
* You can even do sim crossings if you wish - instructions on how to do that as well
* Modify the sign (rezzing station) to customize it to you, or modify the balloons designs if you wish for more fun! Example: We put a Halloween theme on one balloon that goes up to our 2400m high skybox
* Copy as you wish, to have as many balloons and rezzing stations that you want.
* Can seat 3 people each balloon. They have 10 seconds to board.
* Can do tours - which means coming back to starting point, or rides to a place on your land. It follows YOUR flight plans

SAFETIES:

* At start if no one sitting, balloon dies
* As it reaches destination, announces arrival, unsits passengers and dies to save prims
* After first 2 legs of journey, the balloon will unsit passengers and will die if a passenger stands up
* The balloon will unsit passengers and die after the first 2 legs of the journey if there is a collision. The reason is that like a plane crash, collisions cause very odd vehicle behavior out of control. So the balloon aborts to cause less trouble (and gives the location of collision in chat).

CAUTIONS -
Our software has been debugged and has no open issues. However there are some SL vehicle operation issues that we need to watch for:
* Don't crash - do not collide with land or objects (exception - if the object you hit is set to phantom.)
* Easy take offs (which could wobble), and landings, and sim crossings to avoid land or object crashes. What does this mean? For these 3 special cases, move short distances - such as on takeoff - first move is suggested up 2 meters straight up to allow balloon to straighten out. Instructions cover these things. :)

NUMBER OF PRIMS
Very dependent on usage as you will see ... from 1 on up..
Since for balloon rides and tours, the balloon is rezzed
only for the ride, and then dies at the end along with its
prim count.

1: per Rezzing Station (12 menu tours or rides each max)
18: per balloon - when rezzed and being used - only

SKYBOXES?

There might be other ways of getting into skyboxes, but the manner we use is to make our skybox roofs phantom. The balloon then goes up the side to higher than the top, then goes over the skybox to the correct x y landing area, and lowers slowly.

Note that the tours are on normal tours on our land, and that Ballroom and events such as Halloween and the like may go up to skyboxes. One that is marked Woller goes into the adjacent sim - as long as those lands are abandoned of course and the owners or new owners allow.
