OnP Mesh Ruffled Dress
This is just the demo version, intended for usage to see if a mesh size fits. It does not contain modify abilities or the HUD as the full version does.
General: Yes, these items are mesh. They are what are called "classic mesh" meaning that they are "rigged" to go to a certain place on the avatar body, and cannot be adjusted, but should adjust by themselves to height and some more items. Find the size that works for you.
Why this design?
We were trying on one of our dresses with one of our skirts and liked the double layer of lace at the bottom. So it made sense to try for a new dress with a triple layer of ruffles at the bottom. Please view the photos.
HUD usage
It may take a bit to understand all that the HUD can do. Also keep in mind that there are two main functions for things you can modify. You can choose an area of the dress, called a "face", and then change its texture first, and next its color and transparency after texture is done. Or in the case of choosing the face "neckline" or the face "back" you can set the transparency to 100% and open up that area to show more "you" instead. So in some cases, you might be deciding to highlight those areas perhaps in lace or a different color or transparency, or just make them go away.
Starting?
Always best to start with face = "ALL" and then set the main theme for the dress with texture, and perhaps then later color and transparency for all. Of course then you can go to any of the other "face" options such as "neckline" or "ruffles" and modify them as you wish. Note that if you change the texture of another "face" item it might change the color to white. Might be best to change all of the textures of the items you wish, and then at the end select "All" again to reset the color. Some special examples of faces that might have different meanings:
* "neckline" can also be set to transparency of 100% to just open it up
* "back" can also be set to transparency of 100% to just open it up
* "heart" - this allows you to set texture or color or transparency of a heart shaped area just below the bra area - optional - if you wish
* "bra area" - why? -We also have a face selection "bra area." We did not intend for that to be made transparent, but suit yourself. What we use it for is some modesty if we do not choose to use a bra. Let us say that we set "all" to make the item 30% transparent. That is likely too much for modesty in the breast area. So we ourselves set that area to a lower value of transparency after choosing face "bra area" - perhaps 10%. If this shows up too much, note that setting face "neckline" to 100% transparency seems to allow it to blend better. Also recall that the face "heart” also borders on that area, and you may wish to reset that area to suit. Of course, if you select the right size that allows underclothes, you could also wear a bra ... or nothing... whatever you wish.
* "main" - sometimes you might just wish to change the main area but not the other faces. This lets you do it. Note that in some cases you might also have to modify the color of bra area, or back if they are there. So up to you whether or not face = "ALL" gets you there faster to what you wish, or just using "main." I use both depending on what I am doing.
SHAPE for best fit
In our photos, we may have shown usage with a number of mesh avatar types. Whether or not our photos show it all, we generally check our products on Maitreya, Belleza Venus, Tonic Curvy Body, Tonic Natural Beauty, Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, eBody, TMP. But a person could also ask, what shape was used by the models? We enclosed a shape for your usage that you can modify. Some values for shapes of our models follow next in this same paragraph. We admit we designed for a flattering young (or young at heart) female also with a trim body. And so, shape breasts were set to buoyant, and belly was set to 0%, and love handles and saddle bags were set to low values. The all-important breast and bust areas on the models were an average 50%, however less should also work, and "more" might also work particularly if you are willing to use larger sizes - but to an extent, sometimes the same clothing size. As for height, we set that to an average 50%, but it seems both height and body thickness ("thickness" as in the first top section of shape change) can vary with no problems, at least in our tests. So, make your shape as tall as you wish.
