OnP Mesh Mermaid Gown (Rouche)

MERMAID GOWNS - We have always liked this gown style. While some early flexi skirts flared far out and seemed to cover up their dance partners as well, the Mermaid gowns, which we called "rouche" at the time, seemed a feminine yet more elegant alternative.

General: Yes, these items are mesh. They are what are called "classic mesh" meaning that they are "rigged" to go to a certain place on the avatar body, and cannot be adjusted, but should adjust by themselves to height and some more items. Find the size that works for you. The "medium" sizes might work for most avatars with "4 medium" - the most common, but "5 med +" perhaps for Slink Hourglass and some might take "3 med -". The rest are for varying size and shapes of avatars.

HUD usage
Wear a copy of the item for safety, and then double click the HUD. Note that you can right click and edit the HUD and move it around. If it is off your screen, you can try right clicking it and then setting it to Hud Center or Hud Center 2.
* FIRST - Note that the HUD column just to the left of center tells what to change. Begin with "All" since parts of the main gown can only be changed by "all". Next set the texture you wish for all or most of the gown, then the color, and decide if you wish to add a slight transparency. Then... the options.
* BELT and BUCKLE - totally optional. You do not need either. But if you choose one, might be best to choose both. Yes you can set them to a different texture, color and even transparency. Note that the diamond texture is mostly only recommended for the buckle along with other buckle textures, but suit yourself.
* BRA AREA - If you decide on setting a gown transparency, you can then choose the bra area to be modified and set it to less transparency for modesty
* NECKLINE - you can make this lace if you wish, or just set it to transparency = 100% to open up the neckline.
* TUMMY - Optional. You need not do anything. But like the neckline, you can set it to lace, or more transparent, or make it 100% transparent. Of course if you make it 100% transparent you might need to adjust breasts to fill the gown bra cups for modesty.
* HEM 1 - The lowest hem on the gown. You can leave it as is, or make it lace perhaps, or even shorten the gown by setting it to 100% transparency.
* HEM 2 - like hem 1, but just above it.. in case you wish a larger hem area or an even shorter gown.

LEGS POKING THROUGH
Yes. As with some tighter mesh gowns, the legs can poke through when walking or other. This can be decreased perhaps by wearing a slightly larger gown, and in some cases by trying an enclosed slip. Please note that the simple SL Avatar type slip that we include is not a definite answer. It of course is mainly used by SL for SL avatars. It might help, or it might make things worse. And you also might need a larger size gown to cover the slip. We ourselves found that if the texture is somewhat consistent, such as in lace 1, for certain size avatars, it helps.

SHAPE for best fit
In our photos, we may have shown usage with a number of mesh avatar types. Whether or not our photos show it all, we generally check our products on Maitreya, Belleza Venus, Tonic Curvy Body, Tonic Natural Beauty, Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, Eve (2 types), eBody, TMP. But a person could also ask, what shape was used by the models? We enclosed a shape for your usage that you can modify. Some values for shapes of our models follow next in this same paragraph. We admit we designed for a flattering young (or young at heart) female also with a trim body. And so, shape breasts were set to buoyant, and belly was set to 0%, and love handles and saddle bags were set to low values. The all-important breast and bust areas on the models were an average 50%, however less should also work, and "more" might also work particularly if you are willing to use larger sizes - but to an extent, sometimes the same clothing size. As for height, we set that to an average 50%, but it seems both height and body thickness ("thickness" as in the first top section of shape change) can vary with no problems, at least in our tests. So, make your shape as tall as you wish.
