This model has a script which allows you to click the lamp and have it come on dim, strong and off again. There is a configuration card, if you wish to change the amount of light, or the color or who may click your lamps. There is even an auto-turn on for when night falls in your part of SL. I have watched these lamps carefully in my top scripts and find they are very efficient even with the auto on enabled (0.001-0.002 in the scripts time on average). But in the event that you do not wish your lamps to be scripted, put the lamp in the mode you prefer (off, dim or bright) and remove the scripts by dragging them into your inventory (in case you change your mind) or simply deleting them.
Amended review: Had a little hiccup with recieving the right chandelier, however this was promptly fixed up and the creator was very nice and apologetic about it.
Now i have the right one, i love it, very pretty and well made. Well done!
