Open Neck Collar Ruff (BOXED)

For sale: A Renaissance style open front ruff made using authentic reticella lace textures by Frederico Vincolo c. 1587. Included with the ruff is a partlet (shoulder cover) that is worn on the Tattoo Layer (so it can be worn under any dress, allowing the ruff to look more like a natural part of the costume.)

When making this, I went to the trouble of selecting the ends of the "cones" that made up this ruff and deleting the texture from them (to minimize the "artifact-y" look that a lot of items made with fancy lacy transparent textures have.)

This ruff would make a great hi-detail finishing touch to any Renaissance / Princess / Fantasy gown. (Two ruffs are included in this set--one that attaches to the spine and one that attaches to the chest-- to allow for greater versatility should you want to wear jewelry or other accessories with your costume along with the ruff.)

Ruff is copy and modifyable (Be sure to make a copy of the ruff before you do any experimenting with it.) THE RUFF CAN BE TINTED DIFFERENT COLORS. You can also alter its transparency. Turn your ruff black to make a nice addition to your fancy goth costume!

The partlet (shoulder covering) can be tinted too! just Edit it and add color to it the way you'd add color to any tattoo layer item of clothing.)
