OpenPlayer! The Open Source SL Loop/Sound Player!

Created to replace similar, older out-dated sound players/loopers, OpenPlayer is an up-to-date open source alternative!

Why open source?

Customisability. I'm crazy about it! I believe in taking things and making them your own. With an open source model, this enables everybody to take OpenPlayer and make it theirs through editing textures, the base mesh, or even the code.

Instructions on how to use OpenPlayer are included in the readme notecard.

List of features @ V2.0
- One version of the player with a public toggle
- Toggle-able static text mode
- Toggle-able loop mode
- Touch click-wheel interface.
- (optional) gesture controls for owner
- (optional) handy audio transfer script
- (optional) Updater script.

LICENCE: OpenPlayer is released under a GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.

wonderful little tool!

please ignore the reviewer below who clearly did not do any reading where it never says anywhere that it's a HUD, and there is a photo clearly showing that it's a worn object.

i use this all the time for spontaneous dance parties! and with a little modding know-how, it's easy to customize the colors to whatever you like. :)

Plays sounds but the interface is messed up.

When I got it instead of being worn as a hud it was on my body. Then when I positioned it as a hud it was too small. Finally, it was backward. I had to spin it around in order to see it. On top of all that nothing's labeled. It works fine as a looper. It's kind of fail as a hud.

thank you for this, this is an amazing sound player, very lovely design and script, though i wish there was a version that could play through the list either in order or random and another version for playing musics

Incredibly user friendly

Looks good both as a fashion piece and home decor! Ease of use practically has this ready out of the box. All of the individual chunks are moddable, resizable, repositionable, all that good stuff, so you can wrap it around anything and give both yourself and your home some more musical functionality

In my case, the public version is a wonderful compliment to my record player (http://i.imgur.com/TYgpyID.png). Works well for parties!

Extremely opensource, easy to use, and full customization. Best loop player I've used by far.
