An adult male orca (Orcinus orca) swims FREELY inside specified rectangular area you set.
He sometimes BREACHES!
2 original riding poses inside and you can ride him!
*** What is differerent form MIGRATORs ? ***
MIGRATORs swim ALONG THE EDGE, so they are best when you have an island and want them to swim around it.
WANDERERs WANDER INSIDE the area, so they are best when you own a bay.
*** Swimming Limits ***
Each sides of the area need to be 4-5 times longer than his length, or he can only swim along the edge and can never breach.
Too shallow pool also prevents him from jumping.
Just think about his confort as a wildlife...
Realistic
When fully rezzed, this orca is very realistic looking. Mine seems to have problems looking rezzed underwater, but when I see it jumping it looks fine. The swim animations are very good.
The splash is not impressive, I would like to see a bigger splash, and a different one for larger/smaller animals.
This orca, like the other "wanderer" objects, needs a large, clean body of water to move in. It does not sense terrain, so if there is terrain within the rectangular box you define, it will eventually become stuck there.
Use the free box tool sold here to help you figure out the area. Keep in mind that most ocean water in SL is set to 20m.
Simply amazing
I purchased this Orca, together with the other 2 wanderer Orcas from this creator around 6 months ago. I have to say, these are by FAR the most realistic Orcas I've ever seen in Second Life, the creator is truly an artist. The movement are very realistic, they breach/jump in different manners, and the sculpts and textures are fantastic. If I could give them move than 5 stars I would.
So, in fewer words: If you want a realistic Orca that moves freely, doesn't just rotate around a root prim, or doesn't look like a piece of rubber... BUY THIS PRODUCT! I promise you won't regret it :)
