Initially an extension of the previous periods, the Louis XV style gained a look of its own with the Rococo, noted for its asymmetry, sinuous lines and excessive ornamentation. Over the years the style became more sober and symmetrical, a prelude of Neoclassicism.

This little antique bureau is perfect for any unused wall space or corner! It looks perfect with the silver plate from this same store sitting atop it.
