The Louis XVI style saw a return to the equilibrated and sober lines of Antiquity, contrasting greatly with the excesses of the Rococo style. Country, rustic themes and allusions to nature were favored, keeping up with the ideas of thinkers of the time such as Rousseau.

This is the perfect little side table! It fits so nicely into any home and it looks good with many things atop its surface, I love to put potted plants and flowers on it! It's very dainty and fragile looking but the quality is immaculate. Its worth every linden and more. I am so pleased with this and all my other purchases from this store, and I do mean all my purchases. I have everything currently that this creator has made and released to their MP store and I will continue to buy every item released! I am so pleased with the quality of this creators work that I desperately want more!
